    Description

    Joist girders are open web steel trusses used as primary framing members. Joist girders typically have depth ranging from 20 inches to 120 inches and span from 20 feet to 120 feet. Standard seat depth is 7.5 inches.

    For Record:

    Record calculations are generally provided at no extra cost. These allow the project to move forward while awaiting full approval calculations. Record calculations support the fabrication process but do not require formal EOR approval before work begins, enabling a faster start while maintaining design integrity.

    Certifications:

    For open web steel bar joists, required certifications are generally specified in project documents, including specifications, drawings, and contracts.
